Jon’s Story
As the son of a CPA, Jon learned the principles of being financially responsible at a young age. Fast forward to today where Jon enjoys sharing his knowledge with clients on a daily basis. Over a 20+ year career, he has continuously worked and trained to gain more expertise and help clients on their path to financial success.
Jon graduated from SUNY Fredonia in 2001 with a bachelor’s degree in Communications. The early part of Jon’s career was with AXA Advisors (now Equitable Advisors) where he first met Jeff McCabe. After leaving AXA, Jon went on to work with a large retail bank as a regional financial advisor in the Western New York area with a territory covering 20 branches throughout Erie and Niagara county. In this role, Jon worked with clients putting together comprehensive financial plans as well as training, mentoring and overseeing fellow bank colleagues. In 2010, Jon decided it was time to start his own practice. The goal with opening an independent financial planning practice was to offer clients unencumbered advice without the restraints of “selling” specific products. He ran the practice for 11 years until merging with CenterBridge Planning Group in the first quarter of 2021.

About Jon
Jon currently volunteers on the executive and planning committees of the American Diabetes Association’s WNY office. In his spare time Jon enjoys golfing, biking and playing in a Men’s recreational hockey league along with cheering on the Buffalo Sabres and Bills. He also enjoys checking out local WNY restaurants and is an avid classic rock and jazz music listener. Jon lives in downtown Buffalo, NY.
